Prior to installingIn order to install this, you must already have Racer Free Car Simulator installed on your computer. For best performance, I recommend you to install Racer v0.5.2 beta 5.2 or later. This may also run on earlier versions of Racer, for example Racer v0.5.0, but because this was before the implementation of the new shader engine, graphics will undoubtedly look bad. Also, if you want to run this on Racer v0.5.0 you will have to rename the main body texture you want to use ("tex1_black.tga" for example) to "tex1.tga". Racer v0.5.2 brought live reflections and an easy to configure shader system, and before that, Racer v.0.5.1 came with a new sound system, so I recommend you try Racer v0.5.2 if you have not already done so.2. InstallingThis part is easy :). Just extract the content of the zipped archive that this file came packaged within to your "[Racer directory]\data\cars" folder (default is "C:\SIMS\RACER\data\cars" on a Windows system if you didn't change the install path when you installed Racer). This should have installed the car! Now you just have to open up Racer and check if you can find it in the car selection screen, and then off you go. =]3. Changing colorsThree body colors are included within this package, aswell as two seat colors. Refer to the car.shd file in order to find out how to change the colors, or read LB's comment below (thanks for making it clearer, LB)Changing the colors aint too hard, open up the car.shd with Wordpad, then... car.shd: ... ; Change main body color here by uncommenting the color of choice ; ------------------------------- ; ; - Blue color - ; map=tex1_blue.tga ; - Dark blue/Black color - map=tex1_black.tga <- THIS IS WHAT U COMMENT/UNCOMMENT. ; - Silver color - ; map=tex1_silver.tga ; - Red color - ; map=tex1_red.tga ; ... UNCOMMENTING MEANS REMOVING ' ; ' -> IF YOU HAVE THAT BEFORE A COMMAND IT WOULD BE CONSIDERED AS A COMMENT ONLY AND WILL NOT TAKE ACTION. As u see up there my current color is Black. 4.
