Permissions:
Permission is granted to use this track and modify it for
your personal use, but please do not distribute a modified
    track as a full install/zip.

However, if you want to share your modified ini or shader
files, or even add details to the track via extra DOF files,
I have no problem with that and in fact, I encourage it.

Permission is also granted to distribute UNMODIFIED copies of
the zip for inclusion into track collections, noncommercial
CD collections, etc. Under no circumstances are the original
files to be modified, nor can there by extra "info" or "tag"
files added to the zip. Contact me for commercial inclusion.

About the road:

Lime Creek Road is a fantastic lakeside road adjacent to Lake
Travis in central Texas. Starting in Volente, TX which is just
W/NW of Austin, the road winds around the hillsides adjacent to
the lake and runs generally north to limestone quarries. The
curvy and interesting section is approximately 15Km long with
about 40 distinct turns (including 3 "hairpins"). The posted
speed limit is 40mph (65km/h) with cautionary speeds down to
15mph (24km/h).

About the track:

The track is synthesized from GPS and USGS data. The roadway
geometry is based on a detailed GPS run that sampled points
every second while driving less than the posted limit (30mph vs
40mph).

The terrain is generated by simple utilities that converted USGS
(U.S. Geological Survey) data into geometric data used by the
Blender 3D modeling program.

A few other programs massaged the GPS data into a detailed
sequence of points (nearly 700) that was processed by a custom
Blender script to loft the road and kerb, and place obelisks as
kilometer markers. The modeled road is 8.8km long.

Trees were created in Blender with the "lsystem" script.
All modeling was done in Blender and objects exported directly
to DOF files.

What is real, what is not:

LimeCreekSouthLoop-map.png is a map of the model. The large blue
brackets [] enclose turns 22 through 28, which are fabricated but
modeled after actual roads in the area, including the steep
ascent and descent. The rest of the loop, the western
half of it, is entirely real.

Acknowledgments
---------------
Thanks to Alfanut for the first track cams which I based the
current set on, and Redburne for future ideas. Miran helped
adjust the lighting, and Alfanut contributed road noises. Also
thanks to Boomer541 and numerous others for enthusiasm and
encouragement on this deceptively huge project.
